CYOD1 CFB Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada

Requires AFCAD by lee Swordy but backup the original before installing that way if you don't want to keep this or any other imported AFCAD file you can simply replace it by importing the original and saving.

Cold Lake is the home of 4 Wing, hosting 14 different units of the Canadian Forces utilizing the CF-18B Hornet, CF-18A Hornet, CT-133 Silver Star T-33, CC-138 Twin Otter, CT-155 Hawk, and various other aircraft. The original scenery in no way depicts the real airbase so if someone wants to do a scenery update for it I will gladly redo this AFCAD file to fit the new scenery.

There are 3 concrete runways:
13L - 31R @ 12,600'
13R - 31L @ 10,000'
4 - 22 @ 8300'

Due to the taxiway positioning or lack there of I have designated 13R, 13L and 22 for take-off and 13R,31L and 4 for landing, you can change these designations to suit your own preferences.

All communications are through the Cold Lake tower.

I have added some parking gates and ramps to get you started.

The flight plans below use the following aircraft just insert your own AC# and designation add to your fligh plans and compile.

CYMJ,N50* 19.75',W105* 33.43',1893
CYPG,N49* 54.14',W98* 16.46',885
CYOD,N54* 24.23',W110* 16.70',1775

Updated AFCAD for these bases will be available shortly or now so do a search and see if they pop up.

Cut and paste the flight plans and compile.

I'm trying to update all the CAF bases in Canada so my military AI planes can fly from one to the other. Other bases will be released in the future.

Thanks to Lee for AFCAD and ttools for making this fun. CYOD is not an original FS2K2 file but I have misplaced the original author so thanks to him for the basic update all I did was update his work.

As always use at your own risk and so on and so forth, I take no responsibility for any FS2K2 problems that you may have from the use of this file..

Enjoy
